The Covid Catalog celebrates Rev. Tom Wood, 83, of Texas

Rev. Tom Wood was born in December 1936 in Detroit. He stayed in different cities like Florida, Illinois, Alabama, North Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Kansas, and Nevada. He worked as a salesman and business owner before he became a pastor.

Wood died on 29th July 2020 due to Covid-19 complications, according to Rev. Leah Hidde-Gregory, the Central District superintendent for the United Methodist Church’s Central Texas Conference.

In addition to his wife, Cathy, a teacher at the local elementary school, Tom is survived by two daughters, Gwendolyn and Deidre. He was beloved throughout Hill County and seen as a wise elder and spiritual beacon.
