The Covid Catalog, Gone Too Soon, W. Stern David
The Covid Catalog celebrates W. Stern David, 93, of Mill Valley
Stern was born in 1926 in Cologne, Germany. At ten years, Stern and his family fled Cologne through Italy, Australia, Hollywood and settled in England. He was passionate about telling stories about his childhood in Germany, his experience at the Royal British Army, and his life in the United States. Besides, Stern was a longtime computer programmer at Oakland and multilingual.
As a family man, his death wish was to die at his home bed in Mill Valley, surrounded by his family. Stern left behind two daughters and one son, Carol & Jessica, Michael, and eight grandchildren.
His love and compassion for his children enabled him to gain hobbies and interests in landscaping, Bonsai, building furniture, and designing dresses. Stern was an amazing father and grandfather who would brighten any moment.
Stern died on August 12, 2020, at the age of 93, due to Covid-19 complications.
