The Covid Catalog, Gone Too Soon, Ron Golden.
The Covid Catalog celebrates Ron Golden, 56, of Nashville, Tennessee.
Ron Golden, a truck driver, died at 56 on March 21, 2020, after testing positive for Covid-19. Ron knew his life was short after being diagnosed with lung cancer. His health started deteriorating just after he started chemotherapy, his wife, Josie Golden, said. Coronavirus stole him sooner.
Ron’s father was a prominent Native American activist, Marvin Manypenny, who passed away in January at 72. He was a tough marine and was proud of both identities.
‘He was a fighter and had a deep love for his family,’ his sister Peggy Flanagan, the lieutenant governor of Minnesota, said. She recalls how Ron left everything to be with their father in his last weeks.
