The covid catalog celebrates Norman Landsberg, who died on February 13 in a hospital in Oceanside, near his home in Long Beach. He was 94.
The cause was pneumonia which was related to Covid -19, Jeff Landsberg said.
Norman Landsberg was born on November 8, 1926, in the Bronx, to Jacob and Molly Landsberg. His father had a seltzer delivery business, and his mother was a homemaker.
Norman designed and sold jewelry for 72 years from a booth in the diamond district in Manhattan. He was known for his friendliness, custom designs, and the spread that he laid out every Saturday morning. His wife, Carol Landsberg, was not interested in sales, unlike their sons Jeff and Jonathan, who joined their father in the business.
His wife died in 2015. He is survived by his sons; Jeff, Jonathan, and Barry, a lawyer; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Diane Sass.
