The Covid Catalog, Gone Too Soon, Joanne Mellady.
The Covid Catalog remembers Joanne Mellady, 67, of New Hampshire.
Joanne Mellady, aged 67, died on March 30 of 2020, due to complications related to Covid-19.
In the early 1990s, Mellady was diagnosed with a genetic condition that made it necessary for her to receive a lung transplant. Nonetheless, Mellady remained hopeful for her life and even made a list of activities she wanted to do before she passed. These events included skiing, and traveling across the nation; she was able to visit the Grand Canyon, Alaska, and Florida. Her sister, Jean Sinofsky, claims that Mellady was bursting with life after her lung transplant. Thankful for a “second chance at life” she wanted to make the most of what she had left. Though she is no longer with us, she lives on in the memories of her loved ones.
