Dr MARVIN J. FARR
The Covid Catalog remembers Dr. Marvin J. Farr, an 81-year-old veterinarian who resided in Kansas. He died from the deadly coronavirus on December 1, 2020, at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. His death notice was posted on a local funeral home’s website.
“He was preceded in death by more than 260,000 Americans infected with coronavirus,” the veterinarian’s obit read. Farr’s last days were hard, lonely, and scary as friends and family could not surround him. Covid strikes everyone, controversial or not.
Farr was also described as a farmer whose life was full of understanding of the science of life, how to nurture it, sustain it, and the myriad ways that life can go wrong. We remember Dr. Farr in our latest Covid Catalog
Farr’s son, Courtney Farr, said on Facebook that the family received positive responses to his father’s death notice. However, there were a few negative comments, as Facebook does have some problems. Dr Farr cherished all life, and sought to heal animals of all kinds through his greater understanding and knowledge. And through his love of all animals and people.
