The Covid Catalog, Gone Too Soon, Albert Dargan.
The Covid Catalog celebrates Albert Dargan, 70, of New York.
Albert Dargan moved with his family from South Carolina to New York when he was still a toddler. He was raised in Brooklyn, joined the Marine Corps out of high school and served in Vietnam in the early 1970s. He was in community college and worked at the New York Transit Authority as an engineer. He retired in 2015.
Albert spent his later years volunteering in church and hospital. He was constantly helping people. Albert could also help with plumbing, repairing cars, and electrical fixtures, Nakita said.
Albert died of Covid-19 complications on March 30, 2020. He was a beloved father of seven daughters. Nakita believes that she is one of the last family members to talk to him over the phone.
